Jillian Michaels is an entrepreneur, talk show host, reality show personality, and personal trainer in Los Angeles, California. She is often called America’s Toughest Fitness Trainer.
She is popular because of her appearances in NBC’s Losing It With Jillian and The Biggest Loser.
She also has appearances on The Doctors, a talk show. In 2002, she opened Sky Sport & Spa, a sports facility in Beverly Hills.
Being a personal trainer, Michaels uses different techniques on strength training including weight training, plyometrics, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing.
She has personal training certificates from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association. Also, she has a certificate in Kettlebell Concepts.
In 2004, Jillian Michaels became the original trainer of The Biggest Loser. She held the position for 2 seasons. In 2007, she returned to the show. She was also the Australian version’s trainer from 2006 to 2008.
She announced that the 11th season of the show will be her last but the producers announced that she will be back for the 14th season.
Losing It With Jillian debuted in NBC in 2010 as a spin off of The Biggest Loser. The 8 episodes can now be viewed online.
Since 2005, she has distributed at least 15 DVDs like Killer Abs, Kickbox Fastfix, Killer Buns and Thighs, Extreme Shed and Shred, and Ripped in 30. She also published different books about health and wellness like Unlimited and Master Your Metabolism.
For 3 years since 2006, she had a regular talk radio show every Sunday over at KFI in Los Angeles. The Jillian Michaels Show is a weekly podcast since early 2011.
During the last quarter of 2008, she distributed a Wii video game titled Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2009. A sequel was released the following year. In 2011, she had 2 more video games, the Jillian Michaels Fitness Adventure and the Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2011.
Jillian Michaels also earned her certificate as nutrition and wellness consultant from the American Fitness Professionals and Associates.

The metabolic training is an integration of the most progressive techniques used by athletes. This technique also encourages metabolism acceleration in order to burn calories and fats at a faster rate.
Each workout can be accomplished in 30 minutes so the individual doesn’t get burned out and bored.
